Recently I attended a funeral. It was in a church, but at the end one of the musicians sang Memories by Maroon 5. It was just such a great song for the woman who had died - and when I looked it up later, inspired by a sad death. But it would never have occurred to me as a funeral-song. I started thinking about all the music which is played at funerals, and especially non-religious / secular funerals.
